Android users who turn green with envy every time they see an iPhone user use the Instagram app can finally return to their normal colors and relax?? because the Instagram for Android app is finally available.

Just like its iPhone counterpart, the Instagram for Android app is free. It can be downloaded through Google Play? formerly known as the Android Market?? right now.?(Do note that the app requires your mobile device to be running Android 2.2 or newer.)

Instagram for Android offers a slick interface and all the filters found on Instagram for iPhone.?It'll let you share images directly to Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and Foursquare while also offering you options to send photos along via other services or apps.

All in all, the app's a fun way to give photos a whimsical or antique look while easily sharing them with the world?? and annoying those who get enraged each time they see a filtered image.

Want more tech news, silly puns, or amusing links? You'll get plenty of all three if you keep up with Rosa Golijan, the writer of this post, by following her on?Twitter, subscribing to her?Facebook?posts, or circling her?on?Google+.
